My Takeaway from the webinar entitled “Integrated OS Be More Digi-TALINO”

The webinar I attended was “Integrated OS Be More Digi-TALINO,” held on September 5,2025, and facilitated by the Integrated OS Careers with guest speaker Rojiniño Enriquez, CPHR, LDSS. The seminar objectives are to use essential apps and digital platforms to maximize productivity, apply safe and responsible digital practices, and communicate, collaborate effectively in digital spaces. And lastly, critically evaluate online information.

From the webinar, I learned the Digi-Talino mindset, this mindset is helpful for me to be efficient and safe in the use of technology, especially as a BSEMC student. It also tackled some of the productivity apps for collaboration and productivity, such as MS Office, Google Suite, Canva, and Notion/Trello, why it matter, and their uses.

My big takeaway from this seminar is to make use of AI features to save time when creating something. With the right and safe use, it can help us become more productive.

My Takeaway from the webinar entitled “Introduction to IT Acquisition”

The webinar I attended was “Introduction to IT Acquisition,” held on September 3,2025, and facilitated by the Information Technology Development Center (ITDC) with guest speaker Engr. Medel E. Aligan , a GPPB-recognized trainer. The session focused on the legal foundations, procurement strategies, challenges, and sustainable practices in ICT acquisition in the Philippines. The seminar was very informative; I got to learn about Republic Act 12009 and why it is important when creating software or a system. But for me the major takeaway from this seminar is the whole process for planning and the decision-making. Making the process efficient and cost-effective.

My Takeaway from the online course entitled “Introduction to Visual Graphic Design”

The online course I completed was entitled “Introduction to Visual Graphic Design” and was conducted under the TESDA Online Program through the National Institute for Technical Education and Skills Development (NITESD) . The online course focuses on developing skills in creating visual designs using design principles and digital tools while applying quality standards, workplace professionalism, and knowledge of laws relevant to the ICT sector.   There are a lot of courses available under Visual Graphic Design III, but I chose to enroll in "Introduction to Visual Graphic Design" because it will help me the most right now, especially with my program, BSEMC. I am aware of other topics in this course but it's nice to remember and deepen my understanding of the principles and fundamentals.
