My Takeaway from the event “Scene Synergy: How to Balance Interactions between 2D Characters and Environment Art”

Image
The webinar “Scene Synergy: How to Balance Interactions between 2D Characters and Environment Art” was held on November 22, 2025, which happened on Google Meet and was streamed on Facebook Live, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and was organized by The Skyrocket Collective, our group. Hosted by Ms. Hershelle Agasa with our resource speaker, Ms. Alyssa Beatrice Dela Cruz, a 2D animator at Top Draw Animation, Inc. Discussing the principles of physics, weight, contact in 2D movement, and a short anatomy and positioning of characters in a 2D background in the animation aspect. From the topic discussed, I learned how important anatomy and character layout or positioning are in creating better perspective and in effectively delivering the message of a scene. I also realized that proper anatomy is essential in animation to achieve natural and smooth movement, from rigging up to the final output.  Through the discussion, I also learned the importance of assigning clear responsibilities, es...

My Takeaway from the event “Pallete Spark: Unveiling the Hues of Passion and Creativity of GCCCS BSEMC Students”

Image
We 4th-year students organized a film showing event entitled “ Pallete Spark: Unveiling the Hues of Passion and Creativity of GCCCS BSEMC Students” to showcase our hardwork capstone, our animated film. There are 5 BSEMC DAT groups, which are SalinGuhit Tales, Animatoons Productions, Animaya Studio, High Five Animations, and my group, Tanaw Animation Studios, who show the process of the capstone from research to animation pipeline. Also, opening a studio booth to exhibit and market our merchandise at Gordon College Function Hall on November 3, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This event taught me the importance of planning, from giving roles to budgeting and creating an event outline for a smooth flow of the event. The opening of the booth, for me, is the one major tiring part of the event, as we are not just showing but also selling our merch. For this experience I became more appreciative of the vendors and learned things that we can improve the next time we organize a booth and ...

My Takeaway from the event "Cloudstaff ROAR Year End Party 2025”

Image
The webinar I attended was “Cloudstaff ROAR Year End Party 2025” organized by Cloudstaff for their year-end party this year, was held on December 6, 2025, at Philippine Arena. With special guest BINI, SpongeCola, and the Manila Philharmonic.   From the event, I learned how important organizing, from our large event like this, it will take a lot of time for planning and prepping.  From guest list, event flow to ticket selling/distribution. The event was smooth, and we got to enjoy and take a seat, which was good, as we were also not early , but I would like to say the artists who performed were great, and props to Yael Yuzon he is great at communicating with the audience and hyping up the crowd, especially when they are resting after the performance, to minimize the dead air.  Lastly, my biggest takeaway from this event is the importance of appreciating and celebrating a milestone like this to the Cloudstaff company, where they gather their employees plus their famili...

My Takeaway from the webinar “Basics of Audio/Video Processing”

Image
The event I attended was “Basics of Audio/Video Processing,” organized by AKUNI PROJECTS on Facebook Live, discussing the technicality of video and audio process formats, such as representation signals, codecs, compression filtering, and enhancement. From the webinar, I learned in-depth technical fundamentals and terms of audio and video processing.  I become familiar with the basic process in audio as it tackles the topic we discussed in our previous subject in 2nd year. Which are sound production, frequency, waveform, and audio format. Furthermore, the speaker explains the visual format, video resolution, and frames per second.  I t also shows how to color grade/correct and enhance audio in Audacity. But my biggest takeaway from this webinar is the implementation of not just an enhancement but the use of the right format in audio and visual output for better quality.
