My Takeaway from the webinar “Basics of Audio/Video Processing”

The event I attended was “Basics of Audio/Video Processing,” organized by AKUNI PROJECTS on Facebook Live, discussing the technicality of video and audio process formats, such as representation signals, codecs, compression filtering, and enhancement.


From the webinar, I learned in-depth technical fundamentals and terms of audio and video processing. I become familiar with the basic process in audio as it tackles the topic we discussed in our previous subject in 2nd year. Which are sound production, frequency, waveform, and audio format. Furthermore, the speaker explains the visual format, video resolution, and frames per second. 


It also shows how to color grade/correct and enhance audio in Audacity. But my biggest takeaway from this webinar is the implementation of not just an enhancement but the use of the right format in audio and visual output for better quality.

My Takeaway from the webinar entitled “Introduction to IT Acquisition”

The webinar I attended was “Introduction to IT Acquisition,” held on September 3,2025, and facilitated by the Information Technology Development Center (ITDC) with guest speaker Engr. Medel E. Aligan , a GPPB-recognized trainer. The session focused on the legal foundations, procurement strategies, challenges, and sustainable practices in ICT acquisition in the Philippines. The seminar was very informative; I got to learn about Republic Act 12009 and why it is important when creating software or a system. But for me the major takeaway from this seminar is the whole process for planning and the decision-making. Making the process efficient and cost-effective.

My Takeaway from the online course entitled “Introduction to Visual Graphic Design”

The online course I completed was entitled “Introduction to Visual Graphic Design” and was conducted under the TESDA Online Program through the National Institute for Technical Education and Skills Development (NITESD) . The online course focuses on developing skills in creating visual designs using design principles and digital tools while applying quality standards, workplace professionalism, and knowledge of laws relevant to the ICT sector.   There are a lot of courses available under Visual Graphic Design III, but I chose to enroll in "Introduction to Visual Graphic Design" because it will help me the most right now, especially with my program, BSEMC. I am aware of other topics in this course but it's nice to remember and deepen my understanding of the principles and fundamentals.
